Shane served as a Presidential K9 handler for the United States Air Force for six years. As a Security Forces Sergeant, he and his K9 partners served under both the Trump and Obama administrations.
After his honorable discharge, Shane founded Bellum K9 and completed a Department of Defense contract implementing a K9 detection program for the country of Palau in the South China Sea. In 2020, Bellum K9 was officially endorsed by the Department of the Navy.
Today, Shane personally oversees every Bellum Certified trainer across Texas and runs WDA K9 School — his broader handler-development program. He trained the system. His certified team executes it. The standard is what scales.
